Tweet Tweet says the Velveteen Birds

here they come!
*
*
I have loved birds since I was little. I use to sit out on the deck at my Oma & Opa's and learn to tweet like the birds, in hopes to talk to them. I see beauty in so many of the birds like Cardinals, Humming Birds, and the little black and yellow ones. I even loved Tweety Bird and would jump from the hood of my dad's truck trying to fly.
*
I created this bird to share happiness and the freedom to let your mind soar.
*
The patchwork design makes each bird unique. They see the world from an interesting point of view through their wonky eyes. With a button joint, the wings can be moved to express their mood.
Size: 6 inches from beak to tail, wings are 3 inches long, and height is about 4 inches
Created in a pet-free, smoke-free homeCare instruction: spot cleaning recommended.

Back in motion

The exhibit in Marshall was fun! Turkeyville satisfied me with a Hot Turkey Plate for lunch both days, sweets from the gift shop, fresh popcorn, and a new plush monkey for the gang in the house. Lynn, Mary and I met some wonderful people both artisians and visitors. Our fiber arts group (Running with Scissors) has been invited back for next year!

This week I will be adding my two Oceania art quilts to Etsy!
I will also be working on adding some Oma Dolls and coming soon will be some of my Flip Journals.
The holidays will be here before we know it, I've already started my list of people to buy/make for.
