Jena enjoys picnics on sunny days
This Oma doll is happy and friendly. With arms stretched she is ready to give a hug.
I used tea dyed fabric for the head and limbs, and the body/dress is of a fabric that I feel has a bit of an old world look to it. With a sweet embroidered face and crocheted flower she is great for children of all ages.
*
She measures 11 1/2 inches tall and 8 1/4 inches wide
Care instructions: Spot Cleaning recommended
Each item is created in a smoke-free, pet-free environment.
Materials: Fabric, cotton, polyester, fiberfil, embroidery floss, yarn, thread, ribbon, tea dyed muslin

OMG first!!
ReplyDeleteI've always liked the ways you express yourself creatively, Kate - and I greatly admire your imagination. I also think that the idea of Oma's Patch is fantastic. Keep up the great work. :)

Hi Kate,
ReplyDeleteI know you through facebook and Pet Society. I also have two shops on Etsy, and think it's great you've started Oma's Patch! And, Jena and I have the same letters in our names, so perhaps we're meant to be together. Matter of fact, I've often wished my name was Jena instead of Jean.
Hey Kate! I love this doll!!! My daughter would love it, and she would love to have a doll named Oma so she can show it to her real oma when she comes to visit in March! :) So dang cute! No BARBIES, bring on the Oma dolls!!!!!!!!!!

ReplyDeleteHey Kate ,
ReplyDeleteLove this doll every time I see her it reminds me of the little Rugrats. Sadie would love her because she use to love the Rugrats. Maybe I'll have some good luck and win something instead of having everything bad happenn to me. lol :) Doreen
Kate, Your things are really unique and imaginative! Since I have two boys, I don't have many dolls in my house, but maybe it is time for that to change :)

I've been really enjoying reading your blog, visiting your Etsy shop and seeing your dolls - they just make me feel good! :o)
ReplyDeleteKate,
ReplyDeleteI am so impressed with your creations. You are so creative! I showed my son, Vincent your eggs which he thinks are totally cool :). Thanks for bringing a smile to my face every time I visit!
